Aroon (25)
How recently the stock printed its 25-day high (Aroon up) and 25-day low (Aroon down).
Formula
Aroon up = 100 × (25 − days since 25d high) / 25; down likewise for the low.
Interpretation
Up > 70 with down < 30: highs are fresh, lows are stale — an established uptrend. The reverse marks a downtrend.
What good looks like
Fresh highs (up > 70, down < 30).
What bad looks like
Fresh lows (down > 70, up < 30).
Typical range
0–100 each.
Limitations
Coarse; jumps in steps of 4 with a 25-day window.
How OmniSignal uses it
A time-based read of trend freshness that price-based tools miss.
Where it enters the score
Not a scoring input.
