Money Flow Index (14)
A volume-weighted RSI: are dollars flowing in or out over the last 14 days?
Formula
Like RSI but each day’s typical price × volume is what gets averaged.
Interpretation
Above 80: heavy dollar inflow, stretched. Below 20: heavy outflow, washed out.
What good looks like
MFI < 20 while price holds support — selling pressure exhausting itself.
What bad looks like
MFI > 80 into resistance.
Limitations
Inherits both RSI’s pinning problem and OBV’s sensitivity to single heavy days.
How OmniSignal uses it
Adds the "how much money" dimension RSI lacks.
Where it enters the score
Not a scoring input.
